The public invitation to the gathering is transcribed at the top, together with the list of Hideyoshi's finest pieces. Beneath are noted the names of those present, and where their seats were, together with a list of the wears and utensils they brought. In the centre of the painting are the Kampaku (regent, i.e. Hideyoshi), Rikyu, and the two Sokyus.
