Bizen Ware Water Container with Handles, named 'River Tatsuta' (Tatsuta-gawa)

h. 22.3, d. at mouth 9.7, d. at base 18.0

Made exceptionally thin. Low on the reverse is inscribed 'Tatsuta-gawa Rikyu'. The top part is round, but the lower part square. The lid sits deeply. Does not seem to have much antique spirit, and the attribution to Rikyu is not widely accepted.
