Chojiro was the potter used by Rikyu. This is one of his seven known types. Given by
Rikyu to his beloved pupil Shibayama Kenmotsu. In return, Kenmotsu sent a wild goose from Takano, hence the name. The body has a slight kink. Traces of red lacquer can be discerned on the foot, which are said to have been written by Rikyu.
